This week's topic is about health and nutrition. We demonstrated how the foods we eat and drink can make or teeth dirty by placing a hardboiled egg in soda for a day. The kids saw how the egg was white before the soda and after sitting in the soda it turned brown. We discussed about the way we can clean our teeth by brushing with a toothbrush and toothpaste. Last the kids each helped to brush our egg clean. Lets see if your preschooler is more eager to brush their teeth tonight after this lesson!

Our Preschoolers each took turns helping to brush the egg to get the soda off of it and make it clean again. 

After everyone brushed the egg it was cleaner but not as white as before. This was a great way to explain to the kids about how the foods we eat and drink can change the color of our teeth.
